So, after a few months of some very hush-hush road testing, we're finally pleased to release the Tubi Style exhaust system for the Macan Turbo!!
During our testing, we found the Macan Turbo to be very unique in a few ways. For one, it doesn't sound terrible in completely stock form. Second, the rear mufflers use a valve...but only on one side. hmm, weird. Another interesting observation we made is that even the stock exhaust tended to resonate a little more inside the cabin then the Cayenne, or even the new 991 models. Biggest hurdle? How to make the Macan's turbo-6 NOT sound like a 911 Turbo? Challenge accepted.
So after version 1, version 2, version umpteen....we settled on what we think is the perfect balance between an aggressive tone that suits the sporty nature of the mini-SUV, but also knows when to behave and be mild. Most importantly...we gave the Macan Turbo a unique sound, which won't even be confused with it's big brother the Cayenne or smaller coupe cousins.
