Replaced the wife's SQ5 with this Macan Turbo yesterday.

Tinted the front windows and tossed on some spacers I had leftover from my SQ5 from way back. I also have springs on order.

 

Looks great. My wife also wants one of these. I think next year.

Looks great! How does it compare to the SQ5?
My wife currently drives a '14 SQ5 and we are considering making the switch over to a Macan Turbo. We loved our Cayenne and I'm trying to justify the switch back to a Porsche for her. I assume size is pretty similar. How is the handling, steering feel, power delivery in comparison?

 

Personally after driving both the S and the Turbo I believe the more fair comparison to the SQ5 is the Macan S. They both drive very similar and appear to have similar power delivery throughout the RPM band. The Turbo you can tell has the additional HP under the hood and the suspension is quite a bit tighter as well.

With PASM engaged and Sport Plus activated the vehicle drives like a dream on the curves yet remains docile enough for DD duty.

I believe the interior of the Porsche product far exceeds anything in the Audi department as well. The fit and finish is both better looking and performing IMO than the Audi.

Overall, very pleased with the switch.
