Hey everyone! We have some exciting news relating to COBB supported Porsche Macans that we wanted to share!
Over the past few months we have spent a great deal of time on the dyno with our Macan S. This time has been spent refining existing OTS maps and continuing to learn more about the platform in general. In doing this, we have learned a lot about the torque control strategy implemented in the ECU. We have successfully been able to utilize more of a standard Target Boost Control strategy on the vehicles which in turn allows a significant gain in power along with simplified custom tuning sessions. Our original implementation uses an Airflow based torque control strategy that was very time consuming to make adjustments in.
In the dyno chart below, you can see that peak torque is significantly higher and comes on much earlier than previous.
For those that already own an Accessport for their Macan S or Macan Turbo, be on the lookout for updated Off The Shelf maps in the next month or so that implement these changes.

Also , since I already have the accessport - Can you do a comparison between the original OTS vs New OTS? I am happy with the current power increased and can't wait for the update to come out!!! Great product.

We will definitely make a public announcement when the new maps are available. Said announcement will also include a comparison to the existing OTS maps.
