Everytime I see a car rolling with blacked out I wheels I just shake my head. Spending good money to have your wheels disappear...I just don't see it.
I'm guessing it's the fad mentality. Someone does it to a nice car and others think it's the next big thing and want to follow. The fad mentality has always been a strong motivator in our society. It defies logic every time. It has to be that. The Pied Piper Syndrome is what i call it.

I don't get it either. Black centers with polished or chrome lips would be fine but all blacked out wheels just isn't logical to me. I wonder why guys can't see what I see.

Standing up close to it, I can see the attraction but that's the only good look for it....up close. All it would take is a shiny lip to make it work. Or a white stripe on the lip. Something to bring them out.
I know there are some people who are tired of me harping on this. I don't mean any harm. It's just one of the most illogical things I have ever encountered....to spend thousands just to make your wheels disappear and I can't stop mentioning it.
It would be more logical to do it to stock wheels. Can't see them anyway. Save some bucks. Same effect.
