The McLaren P1: World’s Fastest Production Car Around the Nürburgring – Maybe
McLaren has just announced its P1 hypercar has achieved a Nürburgring lap time of less than seven minutes. How much less than seven minutes, you ask? McLaren’s not saying. They’re not even saying whether they beat the Porsche 918′s 6:57.

Until the factory releases the number, it is all talk. I would love to see sub 7 minute , it should do it ..........
As for calling it a production car......... NOT REALLY
A reasonable NUMBER of units need to be sold annually and on a continuing basis to be called
PRODUCTION CAR......
