Need some input, Considering a 12C

Hello there,

Been debating getting a new C4s, then found out it is better to go with a GTS...
Having owned a really refined and well tuned 997TT, i knew I was just cheating myself
So I started to look at a 991 TT.
I found a few, they are amazing a well proven cars.
The 12C caught my attention, did some searches and called a dealer out ion AZ about one, they were very informative, but a used CPO 12C is about what I can get a 15 CPO'ed 991 TT with a 100K mile warranty vs a one year unlimited mile warranty on the 12C
your input please?
Which one would you go with?
I thought of the 12C to get something fresh and different, I have owned 3 Porsches already.
I am mainly concerned with the reliability of the 12C and as a car to keep for a few years.

Do it! They are amazing cars and truly a work of automotive art. from the research I've done they are fairly reliable. It took me almost 4 years to pull the trigger on mine and glad I did...

tmoney is on a distinguished road
I agree, I have driven/owned a few porsches and my best friend has a 12c. It's a blast to drive and seriously amazing in how the car can transform from street-> race mode.

He's planning to sell it soon and let me put 100 miles on it last weekend! If I had the funds it would be my next car. It's a 2013 and has had no issues over the past 3 years and 4k miles.

12C everytime. Plenty of reading why, and about the strong reliability on McLarenLife;

12C is a great car and wins in the looks and attention department, but I would get the Porsche 991 TTS, better PDK, iron clad launch control, ceramic brakes, better interior electronics, rear wheel steering, extensive dealer network, better warranty and plenty of after market modifications.

SethW will become famous soon enough
I own a heavily modified 997TT and a 12C spider. Apples and grapefruit. the 12C is a true supercar with all of the drama and emotion. Its damn fast too. My 997 is a stick, the 12c a paddle shift. the 997tt is easier to live with everyday b/c of seats and doors, but the emotional portion of the 12C is amazing and its damn comfortable. reliability will never be Porsche levels, but way better than Ferrari, based on personal experience.
