Arling set up an appointment with Jeff to have the GAIC ECU flash done. Jeff spent about a half an hour uploading and downloading info through the OBD port. I took a ride around the block with Arling and peaked at 1.1 BAR. I took the long way home on Mulholland and really felt a big difference, especially in the low end torgue. The car is running smooth and the power comes on quick. Daily drivability has not been effected in the least. The new GIAC program has a number of excellent features, one of which is the ECU counter stays at 1 even after the flash. So far I am very happy with the GIAC program.

I also had the opportunity to meet some very cool fellow 6speeders, Lou, Jack, Fred, and Eric.

I think I will "cool it" for a while. The last few things I have planned are:

1. EVO's DV's and F pipe.

2. Have the trim around the nav, cd hoders, AC controls and heated seats painted Midnight Blue (Eric at BP, can this be done?)

3. Silver crest in air bag.

4. Lo/Jack


Then in a few months I will add K755 Turbochargers (9000 HP), Boeing intercoolers with wind chill factor of -45 F, and GIAC space shuttle flashable upgrade utilizing the latest in cold fusion technology.

 

looks like your taking care of my car headdoc ... is there any way i can take a ride in your car? im planning to get the same ecu flash done to my car.
