E63 or CLK63 Black

Guys we have found a beautiful E63 for the wife, but also have the opportunity to get a BS. I was wondering what you guys think about these two as a comparison. We will be driving either as a daily driver and drive alot. The Gallardo is so impractical and I just don't want to end up in the same position. The E63 makes more sense, but I think the value will plumet more than the BS. How practical is the BS? I'm worried about resale on both as they are both new AMG's. Does anyone know how the ride quality is compared to each other. And if I pass on the BS, I'll pass the info along. Its an msrp car, silver. I need help making this tough decision as we're going tomorrow to make the deal ????

I would go for the E63,which will give you IMHO the most bang for buck.Beside sedans are always more practicals then coupes if you ask me.

I would go for the E63 as well in your situation. The BS is very nice, but i just don't see the justification in price. Plus I would imagine it to be just as impractical as the Gallardo (ie. stiff ride, low clearance, 2 seater). As for resale, somehow I think the BS will suffer just like any other AMG, especially if this is a daily driver and you plan to rack up the miles.

Couldnt agree more, except for the car being actually very livable!! I just couldn't muster up paying the price for a CLK!

I've been brain storming and am thinking the same thing. I called a friend and he did come up with something also to think about. He said if anything happened to the car like damage to a fender, etc. That could be a rough road to repair with parts availability and tech experience. Besides, 40k is alot to save. Well, for now my mind is set on the E63. Like you guys said, it's practical and great bang for the buck. We're friends with Renntech so at least there is fun potential Thanks for your insight guys. Temptation is a ***** and I needed a smack of reality. I knew I could count on you guys. It is very much appreciated.

With your given situation the E63 is the better call.
For me though, I would much prefer the Black Series.

A blackseries for sure, if its not possible then the E63 is a very nice alternative.

Just an update. We picked up the E63 and love it. No regrets. Thanks for the help guys. The BS would've been nice, but we are planning on starting a family soon and this just makes more sense.

unless u're a diehard AMG fan or money is no object buying the CLK63 BS is totally pointless for ur need. it's way over-priced. E63 is the way to go.
