Quick question did they ever import a diesel G into the US gray/legal market or not in the current body style. Like a G320i with the 2.9t. I have seen passing little pieces of info but never conformation.

If they did would they even be California legal or am I stuck looking at the gassers out here in the anti diesel state.

 

Numerous people have imported the 80's version 300GD and there are probably up to a dozen for sale in the US at any given time. As far as I know, no one has imported the modern version in diesel. I am not sure if this is due to cost, government restrictions, or some other reason.

 

I have seen those, I really want a modern one, if I was to do a older one I would just get a pinz and convert it.
