SL65 Black Series
Very nice!
But I would have thought the 6.3L AMG V8 would have fit the character of a Black Series car better.
Because even if weights 570lbs less than the standard SL65, the standard SL65 still weights over 4600lbs curb... which means it's still a 4000lbs pig.
Dropping that weight of the SL63 would've had it weighing in close to the M6, and the AMG V8 engine has similar power and alot more torque than the M V10. The 7-speed MCT on the 63 also sounds like a much better gearbox than the 5-speed SpeedShift of the 65.
Cool car, this SL65 Black Series, but I still think the 63 would've fit better with that treatment.

I highly doubt it. I think it'll weigh more than that.
They look like they are trying too hard, IMO.
Too much kit-ness. Had it been some aftermarket tuner that was throwing these kits on the cars, people would be scoffing, is my feeling.

I can see what you are saying, however, in this case, I feel the car flows very cleanly. It achieves aggressive styling while still staying true to the original lines.
