Congrats! My wheel suggestions are all HRE. I think the M40 looks good, but the M58 or M53 black center with polished lip, that would look awesome. But thats just my $.02!

The stock wheels on the 63 are gorgeous wheels imo - but they are too small, i wonder why MB decided against 19's - regardless, the HRE's look amazing

 

+1 Way too small for the body, but the design is nice. They'll be fine w/ some winter tires.

I'd like to hear how your C63 compares to the 997 for power and handling. I'm thinking of picking a C63 up.

Don't get the smoked sidemarkers , paint them it'll look much cleaner , i mean paint them body color , and for them rims m40's i think shiny black will do better than flat black also you can paint the calliper flat black with white amg logo on it instead of silver with black logo and for the back i would smoke the white part of the tail light but not too much just give that auropean agressive look , and a carbon fiber lip on the trunk lol my imaginations

 

Early impressions vs. 997 C4S are that the straight line power is, or at least the sense of power given the immense torque, is significantly better in the C63. This thing effortlessly puts a grin on your face just by hitting the throttle. Handling is quite good for a heavy 4 door sedan, nowhere near the 997, again as expected. Steering is a little overboosted at low speeds, but no worse than my S4. Exhaust note is very nice, not as nice as the 997 w/ PSE, but you get a nice little throaty growl, which for a stock exhaust is better than I expected.

All in all, a great complimentary piece to the 997, a perfect daily driver that is (relatively) understated and can effortlessly kill nearly anything on the road in a straight line.

 

See above post for more comparisons with C4S. The C63 exhaust is nice, but it is a lot more subdued than the PSE.
