Best times for people are anywhere from high 11's to high 12's, depending on launches, tires, locations, whether etc. I think the best stock is 11.87 on mbworld. Tunes, pulleys and headers are putting them in the mid 11's...11.47 being the record right now.

Cool, good luck. Just remember, it's all in your launch, so I would practice before you go. If you don't practice, expect to be in the 13's because 516ft/lbs TQ on an automatic tranny will just spin the tires, especially if you are running the stock Contis. But once you hook up, just sit back and enjoy the ride.

I have ps1's on right now... i did the ecu reset last night and noticed the car was a lot more responsive... so i will do the same before i run at the track... and try to raise the car, comfort mode... and 44psi front, 22 psi rear

Zod is right. Your difficulty is most likely the result of tires. I find the E55 to be quite an easy car to launch, at least for one with 500lb-ft of torque...

I'm looking for an E55 as well. Apparently there is an aftermarket 60/40 LSD that provides much better launches, knocking up to 0.3 sec off the 0-60 time. I think it's by Kleeman.
