Ok so I'm looking at a 2005.5 S4 vs a 2005 C55 AMG. I'm not sure what I want to go with right now, and I haven't had a chance to drive the C55. I did drive the S4 and like the performance. Which do you think is better and why? Just looking for opinions

I realize I posted this on the Merc section, but I thought it would be interesting to see your thoughts.

 

go with the S4 (v8 right?) and mod the sh*****tt out of it. otherwise broaden your horizon with a E55 or CLS55. they are getting to be cheap as potting soil now.

 

An early E55 is so much more of a car, and can be had for cheap

Thanks for the heads up on the E55, I'll take a look at those.

 

An E55 with the right mods, is a downright terror of a car.

 

+1 for the E55 but just take note of most 05s are out of warranty.
