My E55 Facelifts is complete !!!

Well my long anticipated E55 Facelift is complete. Here is a little history and some before and after shots.

This is the way I bought my 2005 E55 back in September 2008… covered in chrome and with a CLS Style Grille:

As of Monday my build is complete and I finally have my E55 where I am truly happy with the way it looks and performs. Here is a list of what all has been done:

- Stage 2 Kleemann
- 20 % Tint
- Trunk Badges painted Gloss Black
- Euro Impact Strips – Removing Amber Side Markers
- Chrome Headlight Rings Removed
- Chrome Mirror Covers Removed
- Chrome Door Handle Covers Removed
- OEM Grille painted Satin Black
- Carbon Fiber Front Lip
- Carbon Fiber Trunk Lip
- Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser
- Custom Lorinser LM5s – Powder Coated Satin Black with Brilliant Silver Pinstripe
- Satin Black Center Caps
- Satin Black Lug Caps and Locking Lug
- Black AMG Valve Caps

Good work! I like the color theme...

What made you decide not to paint the roof black?

looking hot, may I suggest, inline with you blacked out theme, exhaust tips need to be powdercoated black too, and as well, a slight tint on the rear tail lights, a light one on clear parts. And i can't see the top of your car, if it doen't have that pana-sunroof, then needs to be painted black...or vinyl check this thread out, perfect example of a quality benz! https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-cl63-amg.html

That car is beautiful...

As for mine. I was going to PC the exhaust tips but I need to get a temp reading on them first. That will depend on the type or if I can PC them. Also it is a pain in the ba11z to have to cut them off then reweld them back on. As for the tail lights and the roof.... the jury is still out on that one for me.... we will see.

They actually make them for older model E's... os for it on my car... well... it might look really good or really bad.

Im a firm believer that there is a very thin line from very tastefully modding that makes you car look one off then once you cross that line and mod every little thing it looks way over the top and tacky...

You know what I mean?

Thumbs up

Wow, the before shots are just horrid especially that grill... IMO painting the exhaust black along with a few other little things would really finish it off, but other than that you really did an amazing job.
