Have one and use it occasionally...it's great but I wouldn't use it as a daily driver as the harshness gets kind of tiring. It feels kind of jarring driving over potholes in the city.

It's a nice utility vehicle though and is unique!

^ def agree. Though i love my G, the ride could get harsh at times. Awesome car for snow/rain days are the car is very sturdy and built like a rock.
I wish i had a 55 though. Best of luck!

I agree with 997TTBOY87 and Andy. As a daily and especially for NYC G55 is going to be too harsh. Mine is 2008 though but as far as I know the suspension is the same on 2009. In any case it is a great truck. Let me know if you have any other questions on the G.

Had an 08, traded it in for an 09.

I use it as a daily driver and love it. Unique, powerful, rigid. However, it does get a bit harsh on bumpy roads, but its still worth every penny.

Have you looked into the cayenne turbo? I strongly suggest the CTT.

Since it is not going to be your daily, I would go with a metallic black.

I had extensive time behind the 09 G55, the ride is a bit stiff but I didn't mind it. The brutal power and exhaust sound made up for it. IMO, the car looks absolutely stunning in Black, not a big fan of sliver.

Also check out the G550, huge improvement over the G500 and it's surprisingly quick. Plus its about 20k cheaper

I had the 2005 G55 Grand Edition in White before I HAD to lemon it... the G55 is one of my favorite cars, its a stiff ride but its a mans car, the power, the speed, the way it sounds, the way you feel in that car is on another level, I dont know if anybody else feels the same, but I would own that car a few times over again, Im acually looking for a G55 but whites my color and thats 1 damn hard color to come by on this car...I would deff sugest getting the G55, its an amazing car, I love it, and im sure you will too.
