I'm in need of a new set of front brakes. 90% of the use will be street and 10% will be on the track. Curious what everyone would suggest for replacement pads

I've heard good things about Akebono ceramic pads - low dust, high performance, etc. but they don't make them for my older SL. A couple of guys in our Benz club have switched over and swear by them. Portefield is another ceramic brand. I plan to switch to Wagner pads at the recommendation of my mechanic. They are a lower dust type pad that will fit my car.

akebono euro pads are great for the money...
if u want the best, then get porterfield....
