I have several key fobs from a 04' E55 AMG and an 03' SL55 AMG - is it possible to reprogram these fobs to work on an 06' E55 AMG?

I understand the key portion of the fob that detaches from the key will not work and many not be able to cut either to work - But can the key be reprogrammed to start the car, and start the car using the cars keyless function (which it has) starting the car on the gear selector?

Any help would be appreciated - Thanks!

 

Nope nope nope. They come from the factory made for each VIN and cannot be re-coded supposedly. Take a stroll to Benz World for more specific info.
