I just hooked my new Ctek charger to my CLS63 since the snow is now flying and I doubt I will get to drive it much until spring. anyone else use a CTEK 3300 on their Benz in the winter?

They are the only ones I carry in my store. I have one on both of my Benz's and the 928..They are the best on the market. OEM accessory manufacture for Mercedes, Porsche, Maybach, Austin Martin, Lamborghini, ferrari and more.

I've been using a Griot's Garage battery manager with great results, but basd on David928's comment, I'm going to investigate the CTEK unit.

PitBull - do you belong to the local Benz club? www.kcmbca.org Do you use a fuel stabilizer?

Ctek

We leave two cars in New England all winter (min 6 months) one a MB the other a Ford. Both have the Ctek on them... but we also put a timer on the wall outlet so that they charge for a few hours per day. Just in case the unit fails to monitor the charge (don't want to boil the battery). Have done this for three winters now and have had zero problems. During the summer we leave two MB's in the garage in FL (6 months) and do the same without any problems. Note: my new F430 came with the Ctek as the factory charger and Porsche sells the same unit.

I use them on two of my cars that do not get driven much. They are really good devices.
