if its electronically limited to 811ftlb's, then isnt the real maximum 811 then... whats the point of the 1014 if you cant use it

Interesting point. I would consider it the same way you would consider the torque output of any other engine. As we've all learned from tuning, a stock engine can produce more power and torque than what rolls off the dealership floor. But once you exceed those numbers with tuning, the warranty can be put into jeopardy (depending on numerous variables that's better left for a thread all it's own). BRABUS is building a warranty-backed motor in the same fashion as Mercedes-Benz...just with higher tolerances. With the right drivetrain and chassis modifications, you could probably take advantage of all 1,047lb/ft of torque...but that would be outside the BRABUS warranty umbrella.
