Opinions of Mars Red on a C63
They just guaranteed me 4.59....ran into a problem w/ the CTT I am trading in, it is now throwing codes, just got back from my mechanic and it is the hydraulic air pump, a 1K fix.
We cleared the code, but I am going to be honest about the problem and eat the repair cost.

Here is my concern: They have promised me 25K trade in...now 24 for my CTT w/ 63K miles. Will they try and jack me around after I drive all the way out there (280 miles)?
I wish it were a dealer closer to me, much easier to walk that way.

I have driven the E63 and the C63 w/ the P30 performance pkg back to back on a closed track and I really liked the E63 but the C63 was just more fun. You could really feel the size difference. The C63 was so much more " on the edge ". It really made hammering it around a track hairy but also insanely fun. The E63 was a brute but I did not enjoy it nearly as much. Just my .02, Gonna be good either way.
Now that is a smart statement. I realize having cars for fun is important but some people take it to far. They put cars in front of everything else including family, savings & schooling for there children.Make sure all your family responsibilities have been met before wasting money on a depreciating asset. OK I will now get off the soap box..
I agree, if you don't have a retirement fund, 529 accounts set up for the kids, 401k matching maxed out, deferred comp maxed at work and a little money playing for you in the market, you have no business constantly buying/selling cars (well, I shouldn't be telling anyone what they can/can't do, but that is my personal philosophy).
