K-Jetronic

Hey there Mercedes experts.

Several of us with Countach's that use the BOSCH K-Jetronic System, have a connection on the side of both our fuel/air units that apparently aren't used. None of our cars have this item hooked up (nor is there any wire close by that could be plugged in)

From what I understand, the same K-Jetronic system is used on several of the older Mercedes models.

Just curious if any of you K-Jetronic experts know what this connection is actually for? Its that typical BOSCH 2-pin connector. Strange thing is, I can't even find a reference to this connector in the K-Jetronic service manual!

Here is a photo from my Countach

rfan996 is infamous around these parts
That is an air flow senor contact for the plate inside the housing. That looks like the same air flow unit found on early 911 with CIS injection.
