I am looking at getting my fiance either an 06 v-12 SL or v-12 CL. I think these are some off best deals on the market right now and I've always had a thing for 600 lbtrq + from the factory.

I want to know which will make a better Daily Driver for her. We have other cars so trunk space, seating, etc. isn't a concern. Are there any maintenance issues I should be aware of? Any common problems or things to look out for?

What are the big differences between 600's and the 65's?

Were leaning towards the SL65 but we like the CL's alot.

Ideally I'm looking for a white vehical with tan interior if anyone knows where I can find one like this.

 

Don't buy one w/out warranty. That's the biggest reason why they are so cheap. No one wants the maint. costs as sometimes they can be exotic car expensive. And it's hard to get aftermarket warranties for them. But there are cars out there that still have warranty...

 

You can purchase an extended warranty from your local MB dealer. Go to MBUSA for info and restrictions.

 

I've researched this issue VERY extensively. Only if it is under a current MB warranty can you add more years. And by the day, it's getting harder and harder to do even that. I even called my local dealership just now at 4052361224 this morning to confirm. I would own nothing but one fast car and all AMG's MB's if they were more accessible for warranties.

 

Although if you've found someone that will, I'm all ears!
