ECU Tuning Group R63 vs Stock E63

Well, I have been happy with the ECU Tuning Group's flash on my R63 (540hp/500lb torque approximately). It felt faster, but I had nothing really to compare it to until a few days ago.

On the highway, some jerk in a W212 E63 (6.2V8) cut in front of me from the slow lane just as I was about to pass on the fast lane .

He probably felt it was inappropriate for an R class to be faster than his new W212 E63.

When it opened up, I pulled to the right to pass (naughty me). He saw it and floored his car as well. I think he was speechless when I was able to cut back in front of him. My reaction time was probably a bit faster, and I was in the right gear, or maybe I lost some weight, but without the ECU flash, I definitely would not have been able to pull that stunt off lol.

Thanks ECU Tuning Group! Best $1200 I spent this year!

P.S. After that, he just followed from behind - never made another attempt to pass me - until I had to take an exit...then he zoomed off. His car sounded really nice though, but hey, so did mine

Thank you for the kind words Nam! George, Jags, and I love that you're enjoying the tune. Keep those stories coming. Nothing gets me more excited that a mini-van killing it on the streets It's completely unheard of

I don't know....maybe it's just me, but a "kill" in my R63 just seems so much "sweeter" than a "kill" in my (also tuned) 997TT

As in the Mastercard commercials, the look on other drivers faces is just "PRICELESS"
