So my buddy is thinking about selling his 06 E55 AMG Benz. It has 87k miles on it and in amazing shape, interior and exterior are in near perfect condition. We've been trying to crunch some numbers on a good asking price to start from and im seeing them at a bunch of different numbers. We both understand that it might be hard to get top dollar, especially in today's economy. I dont have pics of it yet but am expecting to get them later on today, ill post them when i do. Do you guys have any advice on ballpark figure as far as a good asking price and the best places to post for sale, preferably a quick sale as he has his eye on a newer benz .

It has had 2 owners, all proper maintenance records, and stock everything.

i think a key element would be the warranty. any factory extended warranty is probably over but does he have a good aftermarket warranty company? if not i'd probably say your buddy should post the car for high 20's. mbworld.org is a good place to start selling.
