no photo tricks here. looks good in cell pics too.

just to show a little of the fit and finish.

methanol injection tank and 6 gallon ice/water tank for larger aux heat exchanger-

full disassembly for paint. notice insides of top panels when folding

hopefully that clears that up. hahaa. it is not to pro shots that make the quality of the car look good, it is the quality of the build that makes it look good. it is drop dead in person.

a couple more-

the latter part of final assembly-

extent of disassembly. not including engine mods ofcourse.-

prepaint. final fitment.-

quick pic of whats going under my 67 camaro. lol

fabbing up sl55 exhaust-

finally, what i started with, wasn't wrecked or anything-

thanks. here is a list of engine mods. also, the rear intake tubes going into tb are just some 90 degree silicone elbows i trimmed up to fit. lots better than the stock ones!

180mm lower crank pulley
smaller upper pulley
82mm throttle body
pcv oil separator tank
belt wrap kit (to help eliminate supercharger belt slippage)
550cc injectors
custom made rear intake tubes
k&n filters
aux heat exchanger for intercooler water
larger intercooler water pump wired constant on
6 gallon trunk ice/water tank
aem progressive methanol injection
custom made long tube headers
custom made exhaust utilizing only the AMG resonators and handemade tips (sounds simply wicked!! quite at idle and cruise, but exotic and down right angry when getting into it!)
eurocharged recalibrated trans computer (slr specs)
custom tune by jerry at eurocharged
asp billet pullies
new belts
black painted supercharger and engine covers/air intakes
heat wrapped intake tubes
looped fuel rails
engine oil and trans fluids with less than 200 miles. new fuel filter also
dual digital aem widebands with boost also and failsafe (failsafe not currently hooked up but easy to do)
aux gauge readout plugged into diagnostic port that can read out all ecu parameters in real time. displays 4 at a time user defined

thanks man. looks like car is sold just waiting on payment. it is kind of hard to let go but i am already almost finished with my current project already. might do a sl65 next time. just not many cars in a widebody that can offer the looks, comfort, amenities, speed, reliability, and not to mention the hard top convertible!! just a great car.

Sl

Hay , I like your car even in the original SL55 body and the white make over body. I have a CLS55 modded .. similar to your modds. If it ever got totaled I would do what you have done buy a SL55 and put may CLS55 engines mods on it and call it a Day.. Nothing like that open air 2 seater. Thanks Badm oh what size is 90 degree silicone elbow to fit air boxes diameter of elbow inches ..?
