I have one on the high seas now....if u get it make sure to get b&o harmon sucks.....top gear gave it a 9/10 compared to my Porsche gts which was 8/10 that has me pretty giddy. I am planning on doing the renntech upgrade being it has 4matic good for 670 and 750tq

i test drove one on a cold day here in michigan and it was firmly planted and felt nimble and seating position was nice...looked pretty mean.

only criticism i can think of is the tranny not that of pdk or bmw's....

i drove a m6 gran coupe a few days ago and really liked that car but i am looking forward to the 4matic and the growl of the hammer

 

I would prefer it over the BMW's. The only real drawback on AMG is the resale is the worst. 1 year it can be worth 50k

I just added 120hp to the wheel on my S6, it is a monster. And has more advanced creature comforts and tech than MB right now.
My bose sound system sucks, but cant justify 6300 for the B&O.

 

agree on resale...im going to lease it and that way if i want to buy it end out i can or turn it in...ill buy outright my gt3

Jeff , nice move the only way to buy these cars without losing your shirt is USED USED USED ,, the depreciation is to great to buy new if your not going to keep the car at least 5yrs or longer and the longer the better.. 4matic is the way to go you can drive in the winter if your want .. My CLS 55 is in garage under car cover , I couldnt get off the block right now .. I dont like what winter does to interiors salt, nasty dirty snow etc..

 

B&O premium sound is not as good as think. Mercedes doesn't have Equalizer function as BMW does.

Ceramic break is good, and reaction is fast. bad thing is if u step break hard then you will feel the car stops quickly and fast.

fuel consumption is good: HWY 21MPG, 17MPG Local. 14-15 MPG when AC is on.

E63 S is a AWD. so it's nice. unlike M5/M6 is RWD. I think it may be safer if you accelerate hard.

Mercedes is somehow less driving fun/leisure than BMW M.

I got mine 3-4 month ago, now it has 4000 miles on it.
