FABSPEED MOTORSPORT | In The Shop | G63

A great Fabspeed customer reached out to us with a dilemma; His new G63 was entirely too stock and the factory wheels were driving him completely crazy! After weeks of scouring the internet looking at various wheel options, styles, tire choices, etc., he turned to us overwhelmed and tasked us with making his vision for the truck a reality. The easy route would have been a set of wheels in the OE size to reuse the stock tire, however we wanted to go a step further. We took the customers “wish list” and narrowed down the options to a set of ADV1 wheels, however he wanted to retain - or improve - the off-road capabilities of his new truck (meaning super low profile tires, or anything remotely close were out of the question). Based on our recommendation and the customer’s needs/wants, we went with a square 20”x10” set of ADV.1 ADV6 MV2 SL (their new 2-piece wheel in the SL styling [SL means the spokes are "fancier" than the standard wheel, which also translates to being significantly lighter!]). The tires we picked were the Nitto Terra Grappler 2's in 305/50/R20. Two days ago the client came down from a few hours away. He was excited to see our facility and have his new wheels put on.

We will let the pictures speak for themselves!

Stay tuned for the next round of modifications. We have an EVOms ECU tune and Fabspeed exhaust set on deck and ready for installation. This is shaping up to be one of, if not the coolest, best equipped G-Wagen’s on the road.

If you have any questions about this build or how we can help you with yours, please do not hesitate to call, PM, or email me directly!

-Joe Neill
