Those Inden design LM's were my favorite as well. I think I might have a few pictures of the the wheels on the SL when you first got them. Avus look nice though, especially with the black centers.

I loved it with the LM's! That was my favorite setup for this car.

It looks menacing right now but not as menacing as it did with the LM's.

Thanks to BEN at Wheels Boutique, I got a great deal on the AVUS MF502 Wheels.

Shank
Sorry to say--but Shank don't be suprised if the AVUS wheels have the same problem when it rains.

I just think you don't ever notice the problem that many deep-lip wheels tend to have because your vehicles aren't in the rain too much!

It does seem as if HRE has a much bigger problem with the issue though thats for sure.

ShankCS - did you do anything to the exhaust? I am considering buying a used sl600 and doing the renntech, or an sl55, a 996 turbo, or a Maserati Gransport. From what I have read everyone seems to say the sl55 has a much better exhaust note, but I figure that with aftermarket parts the twinturbo V12 could sound great....Id appreciate your impressions
