Unfortunate that participation is so minimal here. The vendors have completely taken over this forum. I respect that vendors have a place here, but when in the first 15 posts, 14 are vendors' posts, some of whom keep bumping posts that are years old, I believe it's keeping users away.

Just a suggestion - I've noticed in other forums, such as the Bentley forum, there is a separate section just for Vendor postings. This makes the user section much cleaner and users start to appear. Witness how much user activity there is on a daily basis.

EDIT - Just realized this forum DOES have a vendor classified section - too bad vendors use both places unlike other forums.

 

Vendors are allowed to make product announcements in the regular sections as long as they contain no pricing. If they post any pricing or discount info they are moved to the vendor classifieds. Most of the AMG members have moved on to model specific forums. They are missed.

 

Yes, unfortunate, and I am not disputing any forum rules as they are what they are. I have moved since purchasing my AMG GT. You literally cannot participate on a car forum with yourself. Nonetheless, I keep checking occasionally, hopeful other users will come.

 

That would be nice…in the meantime enjoy your own personal section of 6 speed…btw…you can hide those offending sponsor ads if you wish

 

For what's it worth....another AMG GTS driver that checks this around every now and then. Happy to be a 'regular' if we get the conversation going here. I do frequent more on mbworld AMG GTS category as well.
