SLK55 Pricing

Hello,
I built an SLK55 on MBUSA.org and it came to about $70K. I just had the basics of Navi, Bi Xenons, P3 (HK system, Bluetooth, etc.). I think this would be a pretty common build.

On the right-hand side, it gave an initial lease quote of $1000/month.

I was wondering what you SLK55 owners were paying both monthly for financing and leasing? Are the dealerships negotiating much yet? I wont be getting into one at earliest this August (which may be bad because summer+convertible=demand, but I can wait until winter also). I was wondering how much room there was to wiggle with them! Thanks for any input.

You should check with some Credit Unions for longer financing. My Fed Credit Union offers up to 7 yrs. My SLK was $72k tax/title/tags out the door & my payment is ~$750/Mo (cheap IOM...hell, I went & blew anothe $35k on Kleemann mods & Fikse rims ).

SLK55s are rare (MB only sells 1,000 SLK55s/yr) so they don't usually offer below MSRP, but its possible I reckin'. I paid MSRP....not a dime more.

Good luck!.

matt,

i can't figure out your math. 7 years = 84 months
84x 750 = $63,000, how much of a down payment did u put down?
I just did the basic math with no interest. What am i missing?

$24k down. Interest rate was 5.75% I believe - not bad for 7 yrs. See ya.

Badass! Post pics!!!

Ajf1 - thanks for the offer! I am in a pickle of which cars to pursue, but either way it wont be until the coming summer. When the time comes, I may PM you! I might rather lease this car if MB has a strong lease program (like I hear Audi does, while Porsche does NOT).

Thanks, guys! My dad might be mad when I blow by his old C43 in my SLK55.
