CLK 63 Coupe available in the U.S.?
CLK 63 Coupe available in the U.S.?
According to the local MB dealer, the coupe version of the CLK 63 is not available in the U.S. Does anyone know of a way to special order one?
Not at the present time, unless you import a euro model on a show & display permit. However, a U.S. version of the AMG CLK63 "Black Series" coupe may be a possibility:

Unfortunately, the CLK63 is also not available in Canada - only the CLK63 convertible. The AMG CLK coupes were taken off both US & Canadian markets in 2006 because M-B decided that there were not enough sales at the coupe's price point to be competitive with models from BMW & Audi. They felt the 'vert version filled a niche market, so they kept that.
As I said, only way to get a CLK63 coupe stateside is to import it on a show & display permit. However, the very positive reaction to the AMG SLK55 Black Series (which is not available in the U.S.) has M-B considering expanding availability of upcoming cars in the "Black Series" line to the U.S. 'Bout time we got some of the AMG Performance Studio goodies available to the rest of the world!
