i really dont wanna do ECU tuning - id rather just go with a pulley and call it a day - so which would be better ASP or evotech... JUST pully

 

good question some will say ASP i will say evotech. i have evotech no problems at all. i know a person with ASP problems with belt about 1 time every other week. i have also read others with belt problems.
one thing for sure your gonna need to get a cooling upgrade pretty quick with either.

 

ahh the cooling upgrade, my next question, what is this, how does it work and whats it cost? also where to get...its a lot of q's but thanks!

 

it is a extra heat exchanger bigger pump and some hoses. it works by a bigger area to cool and better flow. cost i dont remember but around 3K. you can get it at the same place i gave you the number for the pully. he has everything and knows these cars well. he also gives good price breaks. this was the second mod i did to my car and althought it was costly it was worth it.

 

-aspracing.com has the pulley system w/ belt for about 1000.00. also, many are using these pulleys without any problems. go to mbworld.org and look at e55 amg section. this is all covered there.
