Certainly would be an amazing car to drive.. The stock rims are horrible!!!

I hated getting in and out of it... would be seriously annoying after a while.

Call me crazy but I love the stock wheels.

Stock rims look like the many Replica Lorinser rims you see on ebay, I would go for Brabus monoblock V1 that they offer for the SLR or 722 wheels.

it could befenit from some lightweight rims, hence the rims on the 722 which are Enkei forged

Always loved that car, I remember seeing one in person for the first time years ago and how wide the front end was, gorgeous.. Too bad I never got a ride in an SLR, but have driven and been in multiple other FAST AMG's.. The way they put the power down and accelerate without any hassle is amazing and mind boggling

They are fast cars...they are good for about 126-127 in the 1/4, stock. Not too bad! From what I've seen, over 130 is where they really shine and start to pull away from the carerra GT.

Come out with the SLR to our meet next time, I've just check on one at dealer. Always love the SLR!
