Fujitsu Panels
I am hoping one of my plasma's dies to give me an excuse to get a Fujitsu..I remember really taking the time to seriously compare sets...and while many seemed to come close..for the most part they just don't..
Christian,
Just wanted to mention that I'm out...at least for now. Great deals and I wanted the 50", but after spending a but load of money on a watch for my girlfriend's b-day. I gotta hold off. Thanks though and someone should jump on these!

WOW, great sets, my uncles has a 50" Fujitsu and it looks great.
BUMP for a great screen!!!
Chris, I would buy these for my place in Oxford but these are a little out of my price range.
Chris is a good guy ad I can assure he knows what is the best in the market when it comes to Audio/Visual products.

While 1080p resolution is "nice" to have. You will honestly not notice a difference unless you are almost touching the screen.
What make the screen a pleasure to view is the contrast ratio. When you see detail on the screen such as a wrinkle, no matter what resolution the set or the input, you will nto see it unless your set has the contrast to show the shadow created by the wrinkle. You will not notice a difference in a 1080i and 1080p set unless the screen is 70+" or you are very very close.
I would put much more thought into contrast ratio and less into resolution.

Fujitsu panels/monitors are definitely some of the cream of the crop. In the sizes that Christian is selling, 1080p is much more a novelty than something practical or even useful.
Good luck on the sale Christian, hopefully you can find somebody that appreciates what you have.
The comments in bold above are just silly and completely incorrect.

That is correct, I was saying that you do not need 1080P unless the screen is 70 plus inches (which these screens are not).
Thought so..
I felt the same way about 42" EDTV compared to HDTV..Now I guess it's the same oversell at the retail level making many feel inadequate for not getting the 'latest and greatest"..
Good post..
No, that isn't what he said. What he said was:
"You will honestly not notice a difference unless you are almost touching the screen."
This is not correct, on a 50" set the difference is fully noticeable at a 6 foot viewing distance. And, at a standard 10 foot viewing distance the benefits of 1080p can be seen on a 60" set. I posted a chart a while back that shows this and am including here at the bottom of the post.
"You will not notice a difference in a 1080i and 1080p set unless the screen is 70+" or you are very very close."
This is the main comment I was calling BS on. The benefits of 1080p can be seen on sets well below 70"+ in size, the best crossover for watching TV is probably at 60" and somewhat less for video gamers that sit closer to a TV.
The point he was getting to, in that 1080p is of little value to the sizes of the TVs that Christians is selling, is accurate. But, the way he got there was not accurate. My response to his post was just to keep the information that is flowing on this site accurate.
