I bought this Blackberry 8830 in September...I never use it and want to get a Treo 755p..I have the original box and everything that came with it...I cut out the bar code and sent it in for a rebate...Of course I was rejected for some technicality on the rebate and gave up trying...

$300 including shipping...

can it use with SIM card? or other carriers?

Sorry it's gone..I was able to get Verizon to swap it out for a Treo 755p..

 

Im guessing you prefer the treo? or did u not "need" the blackberry?

 

I really didn't like the 8830..keys are very close together and I found it hard to type on..The Blackberry interface is overly complex IMO and has too much of a learning curve for me. If I had to use it, I suppose I would have put the time together to master it..It is next to impossible to dial a number while driving but of course there are many other ways to enter the information.

The Treo 755p is so much more intuitive and seamless..Seems to me to be the classic Mac vs Windows difference...The Blackberry is powerful and reliable no doubt but I don't like it much..

Lastly the Treo works with Mac which is a nice plus..
