i have the same, i love that i can store speed traps/ local cop hang outs. Also the GPS speed display is very useful. I do wish it had arrows like the V1. I have both units, and both are great IMO. The V1 is just easier to locate where the cop is without much guessing.

I got pulled over in Kentucky driving from Atlanta to Chicago on Interstate 65.
I was doing 90 in a 70 mph zone. The cop dropped it to 80 and I paid $164. He had me on laser and the V1 laser went off as I was being pulled over.
