Hey Shawn im in California and have a brand spanking new Bushmaster AR-15 (model xm15-e2s)I may be interested in selling. Really weird i came across this thread because earlier today I was in Parker, Arizona and walked into a gun shop to inquire about selling my rifle. I know there are certain laws in place that dont allow me to sell it here in california, but wanted some clarifications the guy at this gun store was willing to take it off my hands but I dont have a price in mind, and my rifle was at home I dont usually carry my rifle with me, LOL.

Basically, you have to remove the upper and the butt stock, which are super easy to do. Then sell me the lower receiver, which is NOT listed as a banned assault rifle on its own. Then you sell me the upper and the butt stock in a separate transaction.
