by the way Bre, a friend of mine was asked to purchase extended warranty for his 6 months LR3 HSE. they conviniced him that earlier he buys, the cheaper it is. is this true!! (i remember you work at RR, if not, oops my bad)

The cheapest is to buy it up front when you take delivery. As long as he has a month or 1k miles left on his warranty he can extend it. Not sure how much cheaper, but it is cheaper to do it sooner then later.

I was able to get one yesterday at Best Buy when the store opened. They had about 30 or so units...only 15 people where there when the store opened. Unfortunately, they didn't receive any new controllers or accessories. I'd love to find a set of component cables and a second Wiimote.
It seems like stores are getting in weekly shippments of Wii's. I believe Target receives their new stock on Tuesdays; I've had luck with them before.
Now, if I just knew where to look for a PS3...

I've heard that BestBuy is holding theirs all week until Sunday for a sale until Christmas. I've also read that Walmart has a big shipment coming in and will have them on the shelves either Dec1/3. After a few days watching eBay it's looking like both the demand and price for Wii's are going up, just as the PS3 goes down (with limited inventory at that compared to Wii).

I'm happy for nintendo. Seeing as how the Wii is sold out everywhere, and they are still sending shipments to retailers... looks like they will be selling all of the units that hit the shelves. Congrats to Nintendo.
