yes, these are the infamous high-octane CA cult zins that people go crazy for. i used to go crazy for them too but my tastes have changed dramatically over the past few months - i tried drinking a bottle the other night and i just couldn't finish it.

these wines are very fruit-forward w/ tons of alcohol (up to 17.4%.) they are fairly well balanced for how much fruit & alcohol they contain but they aren't a Burgundy. they can be hard to find - i've tried to price them just below prices i could find online.
