Burberry connections?

Anyone here have connections with Burberry? I've been interested in their trenches for a while, but I'm a bit too cheap to pay retail. TIA.

I got a total of 12 burberry polo shirts off ebay. All were brand new w/ recpt from Saks. I paid about 45 per shirt, vw the 95 they were tagged for. Ebay ftw, just make sure it's the real deal.

Not sure if Burberry is like the high-end designers, but I do know that Louis Vuitton and Versace employees can only purchase a certain dollar value in goods at discount annually. Doubt you'll find a Burberry connection (unless it's at the senior executive level) that could purchase a bunch of trenches at discount without repercussion.

Not trying to rain on the parade, but you'd be awfully lucky to find someone at a Burberry store who:

1) Would want to swing a bulk sale for some Joe Blow off the street
2) Would be authorized to even be able to purchase a large qty of product

There's a lot of factors working against you. Burberry obviously wants to protect their brand image/air of exclusivity, and the easiest way to destroy that is to allow qty of premium product to sell for below retail. It's nowhere near an exact parallel, but do you think Ferrari would allow a bulk purchase of their cars for below retail?? Store managers of any premium brand rarely are given the discretion to mark down product, especially premium product that sells easily at full list.

People who work in higher-end retail typically are career professionals. Unless they're looking to get out of the biz (or have some addiction issues that make them desperate), they know that it's career suicide to get caught flipping product that was acquired with an employee discount.

But good luck and more power to you if you do find someone.....
