HP dv9580 - Unopened: $1200, save $600~700~
I need a new laptop for school...

Just got back... AsianImage, give me a buzz, and we'll setup a pick up for your laptop. As for the rest of you, I literally just got back from vac. So, let me find out when the next order is, and I'll let everyone know. Stay tuned...

Sorry, guys... was waiting on final word before I updated everyone.
I was trying to hook everyone up with a good deal, but it's looking like the dv9580us order that we were supposed to piggy back off of is not coming through. Instead, the order was changed to dv9540us (no bluetooth, and 1.5 instead of 2.0Ghz). If this deal comes up (which is possible), I'll reply to this post.
I ended up buying one extra if anyone is interested at $850. (I bought 5). 1st come 1st serve.

I am using the dv9540 now...as I type this. It is a GREAT laptop.
But I have to agree...Vista kinda sucks. It takes FOREVER to load up and shut down. But on the good side...everything is very PRETTY! ahahah...
I tried calling HP to get the OE XP Discs...and of course they do not exist..since all new laptops come with Vista. At least models do. So unless you are some super computer bad *** and dont mind reformatting the whole computer and installing XP yourself you are kinda stuck.
Still a great deal...Stephen is really hooking everyone up...I am very lucky to have mine. thanks again Stephen!
