Welcome to the forum. As Ahmad (Blackbenzz) and everyone else said, we're all a great bunch of friends (at least in the Mid-Atlantic) who enjoy getting together and going for rides. We're all keeping our fingers crossed for Saturday, but I may just go POSTAL - (NEITHER RAIN NOR SLEET NOR SNOW WILL KEEP ME FROM THIS RIDE - WELL MAYBE). Anyway, it should be a great run. Do you know Chrism3??

You guys all seem really great.
AGAIN this morning, a white 996 with aero kit drove slowly by, within 2 feet of me in traffic, there is no way he couldn't have seen me. I blipped the high beams, he just drove on by. Oh well, I'll just have to settle myself with you lot.
Even if we do get rained out, would anyone be interested in just meeting up somewhere for lunch or even that wine tasting in annapolis? that way AvusRS6 can still unveil his 'surprise'.
And yes, I do know chrism3 quite well. He is the bf.

seattle p-car owners are friendly! we get tons of waves, blips, and full on stickin' the hand out the cabrio! and that's when i drive the 996 or the 986.

Although I have in the past, I haven't done any track days or autocross in this car YET.
So far I've only done the AKA Rally cross country trip in it and I've done top speed runs on the Bonneville salt flats - an UNBELIEVABLE experience.
Unfortunately, it's still stock and I'd like to change that first.
I do wave first, I think maybe your seattle people aren't as stuck up

I was up there last year around this time for a giant fish science conference. I loved the place. I know the AKA rally considered starting there this year but we heard your cops are hellish.
And yes, it's always cool to find other car chicks that drive. We are few and far between. nice to meet you jody.
