Talking Annual Spring Tour MD/VA/DC/PA [Sunday, March 30; 9-10am Meet-10:15 Depart]

DATE: Sunday, March 30th

TIME: 9:00 – 10:00 am Meet - 10:15 am Departure

WHERE: Safeway Parking Lot, Londontowne Centre, Sykesville, MD

CONTACT: Ken Bullough bull_30@verizon.net

INFO: This route will take us through very scenic areas and over extremely twisty roads of northern Carroll & Frederick Counties ending at the famous Cozy Inn in Thurmont, Md. Last year’s tour was such a big hit that we’re going back by popular demand. The cost for the meal is $20.00 person all inclusive (children’s rates available). They put out quite a spread for us last year. Expect more of the same on this tour…

RSVP: RSVP REQUIRED to bull_30@verizon.net

DIRECTIONS:
From Baltimore: Take I-70 W toward Frederick. Take exit 80 RT-32 North toward Sykesville (RIGHT at end of ramp). Go straight at Rt-26 and take your 1st RIGHT then LEFT into the Safeway parking lot…

From Columbia / Annapolis Area: RT-32 North toward Sykesville. Go straight at Rt-26 and take your 1st RIGHT then LEFT into the Safeway parking lot…

From DC Area: I-270 North to I-70 East to Exit 80 RT-32 North. At the end of the ramp turn LEFT on RT-32 toward Sykesville. Go straight at Rt-26 and take your 1st RIGHT then LEFT into the Safeway parking lot…

I wish I could... We have to be at the Cozy Inn at noon... So the departure time is 10:15am... Which is about 45 minutes later than most of the departure times... Hope you can make it... Gina and I have at least 8 tours planned this year... Each will have a unique starting point to give everyone an opportunity to make a tour... I've driven the route for this tour 3 times so far... It's a 58 mile blast with NO traffic lights at all...

I just sent out the email blast and posted it on the forums... We have over 30 cars already so I know there will be at least 2 run groups... Just keep in touch with me and I'll let you know the registration status...

Looks like we're going to have a GREAT turnout so far from the 6speed crew... I've run this route 4 times so far... Lot's of turns and twisties... Should be a blast...

I'm taking the Crash Test Dummies out this Sunday to run the route... If interested please email me at: bull_30@verizon.net

I'd love to come to this but unfortunately it's my girlfriend's last day of spring break so I'll be spending the day with her (she leaves at noon so I couldn't even bring her on the drive). I'll hopefully be able to join on the next one though. Getting up early for a run like this is no problem
