Check out this one shot of 200 I took last Friday night/Saturday morning. These are for a magazine shoot. The tune shop may also select some shots for one of their ads as well.

cheers

ken

I'm not busting on you, because I know you take good pics, but this shot is really underexposed. There are so many dark spots. I would have HDR'd it so everything would be properly exposed. NAAHHHH MEAN?

I can see your point but in my view, I like the photo as it stands. I haven't done any post production work on it. I like the mystery of the shadows and the atmosphere that is created. The only thing I would change in retrospect is to set off a flash out of sight to light up the side of the Porsche a bit better.

Another thing to keep in mind with some magazine shots, it nice to have an image that has significant space for reversed out type. This can also work for cover shots, having enough image for masthead placement and other graphic elements. I"m not saying that this particular photo is a cover photo, it is probably too dark.

The last thing to keep in mind with this particular photo is that at full resolution, you have a bunch more shadow detail then is visible in a 800 pixel image. There is significant detail in the walls and cobblestone street that are lost at low resolution.

regards

ken

The chicks can be added, in fact that's how most the tuner and chopper magazines work.

Any which way, sorry we didn't hook up that Saturday night. Here are a couple of the lessor shots from our last photoshoot.

Hope we can manage something in the near distant future.

regards

ken
