****New Engagement Ring Work****

I made this recently for a local customer but never got around to posting it. My client requested an all platinum band with diamonds going halfway around the ring, but he wanted to keep the ring very thin but not so thin that it would compromise its strength. The "super-thin" wedding bands are very popular right now, but they can be so thin that you encounter strength issues along with diamonds coming out often. The center stone is a 1.05 carat H VS2 with about .25 carats is smaller side diamonds. The first pic is the CAD rendering.

LOL, "the run" would have gotten me some chocolate that night had I not started laughing and giving myself away. Of course my 50 gallon trash bag I was holding sure didn't help stealth the situation.

Bump for a nice looking ring.
