Special parking and VIP access, you need to register with these guys. $12 gets you waterfront special Porsche parking.

Below is the email I just received;

Well last weekend the biplanes cavorted, the wing walkers walked and the parachutists plunged. And that should have given you your fill of Porsches and airplanes. But for all you dedicated water lovers, Potomac wants to remind you of Porsches and Yachts.

This Saturday, May 30th, from 12:00 PM until 9:00 PM, PCA Potomac and Porsche of Arlington in conjunction

with United States Yacht Shows Inc. is offering exclusively to PCA members and Porsche owners a day of Porsches and yachts at the Washington NationalHarbor located just off Interstate 495 at the Wilson Bridge.

PCA Members and Porsche of Arlington clients can purchase VIP package tickets for $12.00 per person. This includes a waterfront parking spot in an exclusive Porsche-only parking lot to display your Porsche vehicles, unlimited access to the yacht show, acess to the VIP lounge on the pier pavilion and a voucher for one signature drink.

Take advantage of this opportunity to display your Porsche while viewing some of the exceptional yachts displayed in the water at the National Harbor Marina. Please register now to reserve your spot. We have over 120 persons and sixty cars registered but there is still plenty of room. The VIP package price is $12.00 per person.

AND THERE's MORE FOR CHARITY

In addition on Saturday evening, starting at 5:30 PM until 8:30 PM, a private reception will be held on board the Miss Ann, a classic 1926 124’ motor yacht. Wine will be provided by Virginia Wineries, beer by Stella Artois and appetizers by the Public House of National Harbor. Music will be provided by Radio King Orchestra.

Proceeds will benefit the Erikka Hayes Foundation. The Foundation educates and cultivates economically and socially disadvantaged future leaders for the hospitality industry. This private party is limited to 100 guests and the price per ticket is $50.00. This includes admission to the charity event and all the amenties included in the VIP ticket.

To register or for more information, please contact Potomac Vice President Dick Seltzer at richard.seltzer@***.net or Porsche of Arlington Service Manager Chad Morrison at chad.morrison@porscheofarlington.com

For more information on the Yacht Show, visit www.yachtshownh.com

This should be a really great event and we look forward to seeing you there.

I was just reminded by my wife that my daughter has a dance performance Saturday afternoon and we have company in the evening. Looks like I'll be missing this one after all.

Ven is infamous around these parts
Dress code?

I'll be there. Look for the guy in the light blue tux, with ruffles.

I think is the a very casual event. At least that's what I was told.
