74 on Old Ox Road...yikes.

Going to be an uphill battle with the county revenue deficit, I'd probably skip the lawyer but that's just me.

Good luck.

I don't care if the county wants money, the last person i want to get more money out of me is my insurance company.

My car came with the K40. It is worthless. Never went off. Got 2 tickets in Georgia with it on. Finally came to my senses and got the Laser Interceptor.

You should fight the ticket. I always postpone it at least once. Twice is even better. You have a good chance of the Po Po not showing up. This worked for me last month. Two tickets. Verdict. Dismissed. Thank you very much

Not sure if your K40 picks up Laser but I know MD cops are definitely using it. My V1 picks it up but since it's instant-on, your screwed already. Luckily I've had cars in front of me every time I've been hit with it in MD. I haven't seen any laser being used in VA though...

On another note, most cops use Ka band. I was driving to a... um... establishment... in WV a few weeks ago and had Loudon county cops hit me with K band. I've never seen cops use K band before in any state. This sucks b/c a lot of other things give off K band radar so I usually just hit the silent button and ignore it. Maybe your K40 doesn't pick K band up and they were using that?

It's the K40. They don't work pretty simply.

I have a passport 9500 which picks up absolutely everything and a passport solo which not so much picks up stuff (but i think this is due to it running of batteries). I also have a bel rx75pro with laser jammers and it has worked a few times in MD for me (blew by a cop shooting radar on rt29 going over 80... the thing blew up making noise and saying it was blocking). However, the K40 not working really has me worried, anyone else have experience with an rx75pro? time to upgrade maybe?

About 2-3 years ago LoCo and some of the town police upgraded their detection equipment including radar detector detectors... I personally know a few cops that were out testing the equipment. Needless to say they were very disappointed with the new equipment and how it works compared to the older equipment. I know the RD detectors are in a room collecting dust...

Have to love our tax dollars at work..
