if you are going as stir-crazy as i am with this "wonderful winter weather" (definitely some sarcasm there ) and are tired of being a shut-in, come out to the Fair Lakes Starbucks this Sunday from 8:30 am to 10 am?? +/- and meet us in the Kohl's parking lot for a "No-Snow for a week" C & C. Get the car out of winter storage or drive the "winter car", the "Beater", the "wife's car", or the "tow vehicle" if you want! Thought it would be good to get out of the house, grab some hot coffee and get caught up with everyone. While i appreciate a good excuse to lock myself in the garage like any reasonable car-fanatic...enough is enough!

I was hoping someone would start this thread for a Sunday get-together noting the 'not-so-bad for winter' forecast this weekend!

 

how late do people stick around usually? I am not a morning person but will try to come out with my 2yrs old son.

 

we usually wrap it up between 10 am and 11 am so we don't interfere with the Kohl's customers since we are using their lot. Also just depends on how long folks want to stay and talk...and how cold it is! hope you can make it.

 

Crud I was going to drive the porsche today and it went and snowed. More de-icer crud. Grr.

 

Got you, I'll be the new guy there since I don't know anyone I'll see you guys on Sunday. I've been itching to take my car out for little spin and this wintery weather (rain/snow) is not helping much..

hope it's less windy than it was today! that got COLD!! Looking forward to tomorrow though.

 

Here are a few pictures from 02/13/11. We had 4 Lotus, including my Elise, plus a Ferrari 355, a Z06, and many, many Porsches. A couple of Mercedes, a new Camaro, and a Subaru rounded out the attendees. A good turnout for a cold, windy day, and a very good time!

FYI - I got there at 8:32AM, and no one was there yet. Some started arriving about 8:40AM, and most were there by 9AM. Many left by 10AM, but a couple of diehards were still there at 11AM.
