Cool!! I'm good for a Katies meetup and a run back here. I'll use 6/18 as a firm date and start coordinating on this end. We can cook when people get hungry, run coffee and such all day, and crack some beer when we feel morally responsible.

I'll need to build a fairly accurate count of attendee's so I've got enough space, I figure my neighbors will be good with it so we'll probably throw cars all over the place. I know I'll put the 928 and 914 on my lawn and toss my daily drivers outta sight.

Don't want to leave anyone out! The 19th is Fathers day, so it sounds like I'll push it to the 25th. Will that fit better for everyone?

Should be ok...we should get a bunch of us to meet over at Katies on the 18th like planned and do the GTR event...all makes/models welcome and the BBQ will be at a park. Then the following week meet at Katies again and caravan out to Brakes, Beer, and BBQ...or shall I say the inaugural "Fraggle-ROCK 2011" event !!!!

I tried to update the thread title with the date, but I can't figure out how to do it.

Anyway, looks like Mahin can't make it, but we'll still have the BMW struts and the 996 CAI install.

Plan to roll to my place after Katies. I'll have some pastries or snacks or something until later when we fire up the grill.

OK, post Katies I see two options.

1) Choice #1: Easy roll on 193W to 495S to 66 to 234S to 28 to BRISTOW. 42 miles, 55 min or so

2) Choice #2: More interesting roll on 193W to 495S to 95S to Triangle, then take rt 619 west to my house. 58 miles, google claims 1H 23 min.

Figure we leave katie's around 9am, that means getting to my house at 10 to 10:30, depending on the route.

Believe me I won't be cranking it out either especially on the freeway, too spendy $$$$$$, but 619 does have some nice tight bits for a short blast.

Ok time for an update. 3 of my neighbors will be out of town that weekend and have volunteered their driveways for parking, so I don't think we're going to run into any issues there.

I'll have some bbq basics, brats burgs and some beer. My wife will be baking some good stuff, too, and since we'll be starting post katie's I'll have a box of starbux coffee and some other snacks or bagels in the AM.

If anyone else wants to bring anything, it would be great, and we've got a harris teeter right by New Bristow Village (rt 28 and Vint Hill) for any supplies or options I forget.

Please sign up here or on Chris's NoVA sports car meetup, I listed it as FraggleFest 2011!!

Mike!!! I've RSVP'd on the meetup site. Can't wait. I'll bring some grub and helping hands...

As far as the route, I'm up for either.

Thanks for hosting!!!

Ok bump!

Surprise fix - my bmw 330xi will be receiving a new intake boot, idle stabilizer and maybe struts. Hopefully it will all show up before Saturday. Then I can do the struts on my car in parallel with the 525i wagon (with manual!)

For food we'll have the standard bbq fare plus whatever appetizers me wife wips up. If you'd like to bring some supporting edibles, please do!!!
