I will try to remember. I usually manage to take pictures of a Corvette or two

As a side note, if anyone is running on the main track or doing a Hyperdrive and want pictures of your car, send me a text at (four one zero - two nine four - six six one five) and let me know when you're going to be on the track.

Sunir says it best when he describes Hyperfest as trying to stuff five pounds of $hit into a three-pound bag. While I do love this event, this year was more disorganized and chaotic than ever.

Saturday morning at 8am we were getting kicked out our camp site which has never happened before. It really pissed me off because supposedly we were camping in the car show area (one of five, mind you) even though there was no signage designating that area as car show parking only.

The road racing was great and so was the drifting, although it sucks that three out of the four XDC cars ended up backing out and going up to Formula D in New Jersey instead. I'll still go next year but I really hope they can learn how to organize an event of this size.

Don't get me wrong, it's still an awesome event. It's just disorganized. I took 1,800 pictures

Definitely an awesome event! First time going and I was hopping between the main circuit where all the Hyperfest stuff was going on and Shenandoah for the Lemons race. I also agree that there does seem to be almost to much going on, but it was very cool. First time I've ever seen drifting and have to give it to those guys! They can drive!

Yea I was at the "Friday at the Track" the day before and while we were at lunch they were drift practicing.. Pretty cool I guess... I left at 5 before the madness started.. Saw a million people in trailers getting ready... I did my hpde and bolted... Too many people freak me out I did get to solo and got bumped to group 2 before I left ! My little black Mitsubishi evo isn't as fast as my gtr was... But I had fun passing the m3's and vetts and a slower guy in a R8... Nice dude though

I was watching you on Friday. You were passing cars left and right!

I also got to hang out with Rob (with the Elise) and his girl Heather on Saturday while watching the drifting so that was good catching up with them a little bit.

Like Chris said - Chaotic as all hell, but still my favorite event of the year! Racing action all weekend on all the tracks, drift cars tearing things up (including themselves), stunt bikes, roll over contests, car show, camping, some dude getting tazed apparently, and my girl getting convinced into being a hyperfest girl at the last minute during the show - utter madness and like Sunir said, 5lbs of $hit in a 3lb bag for sure!

I know Chris got some awesome show/race shots, can't wait to see those. I didn't have my SLR on me, so here are the few point & shoot shots that I mangaged to snap.

ROFL I forgot about that until you just mentioned it. It's not Hyperfest unless someone gets tazed.
